Planning
This phase is where our core plant team starts meeting for team building, small groups and creating the support systems for our new church plant. This phase started August 19th.
Training
This phase occurs while the Planning phase is still finishing as we seek to become the church we want to be to reach those far from God. This phase starts Septmber 8th through November.
Pre-Launch
This is where we do a soft launch of the church to prepare for the grand opening. During this time we will strive to find all gaps in ministry. This phase is set to start in January.
Launch
The grand opening of passion church is where we make a massive push with all the support we have gathered over the last several months. We can't wait to start our new church. This is set for March, 2025.
Our mission
is to reach people far from god!
In 2019, a national study showed that 80% of church growth was due to people transferring from other churches. That left 20% of the total national growth for new Christians. Studies have also shown that the best way to generate growth is through new church plants. We are focused on 80% of our growth coming from outside of other churches. We want to be a church that focuses on those who are far from God. Does this mean that we don’t want existing Christians to join us? Absolutely not! We need mature Christians to help us reach new people. We are passionate about expanding God’s kingdom and making new disciples.
Why another church?
It seems like there are so many churches in the area. Why do we need another one? That's a great question. First, studies have proven that starting a new church generates significantly more momentum than a well-established church in reaching non-Christian people. Further, we serve a God who wants all to come to Him. That means having more churches to reach more people is a good thing, not a bad one. Here at Passion, we want to create a unique church culture that reaches real people for Jesus Christ.
